How to maximize the life of your White Vinyl Wraps
You will need:
1. Keep it clean
Regular cleaning using a soft sponge or cloth with soapy water can help remove any foreign objects that may be stuck in the vinyl. This will prevent them from damaging the vinyl. Cleaning can also remove substances such as coffee, insects and bird droppings, before they become difficult stains. We recommend that you clean your vinyl wrap every two or three weeks. The longer between cleanings, the harder it is to remove dirt and stains.
2. Avoid high-pressure water and wax
You may be tempted by the quick results of a car wash or pressure washer to clean your vehicle. These methods are not recommended for vehicles that have vinyl wrapping, as the chemicals and water used to clean can cause damage. If you decide to pressure-wash a vehicle that has been wrapped, use a unit that produces no more than 1,000 PSI. We advise you to avoid waxing your vinyl wrap. Wax does not protect your vehicle but instead degrades vinyl and reduces durability.
3. Store your vehicle in a safe location
If you want to extend the life of your vehicle wrap, it is important to park your car in a secure location. It may be hard for some businesses to park their vehicles away from the sun or elements, but you should park your car in an underground parking garage when it is not being used. It will also protect the vinyl from damage caused by snow, heavy rain and direct sunlight.
